FAQs
Speetar™ is a comprehensive telemedicine platform that seeks to establish an innovative regional, multidisciplinary healthcare network, integrating more than 15 types of medical specialties, serving patient populations throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
Speetar’s on a mission to bring unparalleled, timely access to quality healthcare, as needed, creating huge cost savings and efficiency in allocating resources. The built-in healthcare management system will provide cloud based electronic medical recording, doctor-patient scheduling, real time identity verification, billing and video conferencing, all in one end to end solution. This is all based on a subscription model where healthcare providers are compensated for their service to ensure long term sustainability and achieve scale.
At Speetar we have a mission to make quality healthcare the most accessible it has ever been, by leveraging technology, to break down the economic, social and geographic barriers that too often limit the choices patients have when seeking quality healthcare. The primary emphasis is on remote and underserved patient populations.
In August 2019, we launched the close-beta stage in Libya, with a target population of 3000 constituting Speetar’s community of early-users, distributed throughout the east, west, and south of Libya. The work on the ground is managed by a team of 15 local doctors, logistics officers and client support managers. We are dedicated to fulfilling our mission of empowering physicians and giving every Libyan the opportunity to live a healthier life.

How do you onboard healthcare providers?
Each of our providers goes through a rigorous selection and verification process to become part of the Speetar Physician Network. Subsequently, each medical doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, and medical assistant is monitored through a carefully designed Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Process.
The initial onboarding process involves a thorough review of the provider’s clinical experience, training, licensure and questionnaire, they may also be interviewed by our Medical Leadership at Speetar.

Physicians will often prescribe medications for common conditions such as infections, allergies, skin conditions, travel or sports injuries.
Please note that physicians on Speetar do not prescribe narcotics and other controlled substances, or medications that require administration by healthcare professionals.
